To Build A Museum was born from my phenomenological dissertation, Building a Museum: Sex Education Through Art, which explored the intersection of art, sexuality, and education. This academic foundation became the cornerstone for the creation of the Erotic Heritage Museum (EHM)—a dynamic space dedicated to promoting understanding through art and education.
What began as an academic inquiry evolved into a platform for activism, artistic expression, and community engagement. This website serves as my personal documentation of the profound and wonderful experiences, challenges, and insights gained throughout this journey. The words and visual contributions of esteemed artists, colleagues, and patrons are preserved here for educational purposes, offering a rich perspective on how art can challenge societal norms and inspire change.
To Build A Museum continues my commitment to fostering inclusivity, expanding awareness, and celebrating the transformative power of art, while also serving as a reflection of the exceptional experiences that have shaped this project.
