The Operation | A Film by Pander and Lucas

The Operation | A Film by Pander and Lucas

The Operation by Jacob Pander and Marne Lucas was one of many films featured in the Theater of the Moving Image, a permanent media installation featuring a wide variety of adult films. From the vintage films to the Golden Age of Pornography, an array of genres was presented in this installation to provide insight into the proclivities of others. This particular film was a favorite of patrons.

I first encountered this film during my academic studies. It is mesmerizing! I highly recommend viewing the film in its entirety because it is just that good.

ART • ACTIVISM • IMPACT

To Build A Museum began as my phenomenological dissertation, Building a Museum: Sex Education Through Art, exploring the intersection of art, sexuality, and education. This academic work became the foundation for the creation of the Erotic Heritage Museum, a space dedicated to fostering understanding through art and education.

What started as an academic inquiry evolved into a platform for activism, artistic expression, and community engagement, documented here through the profound experiences, challenges, and insights I encountered, along with contributions from esteemed artists, colleagues, and patrons. To Build A Museum reflects my commitment to inclusivity, expanding awareness, and celebrating the transformative power of art, while capturing the key moments that shaped this project.
